Hi All,

I figure at least some of you must be applying for internships/residencies.

I was thinking that it could be useful to trade letters of intent. I fully admit mine doesn't currently exist but it will hopefully relatively soon.

I will also have friends etc look at it but I throught it would be useful to see how it comes across to a total stranger since that's who will be reading these things in a few short months.

Anyone game?

I'm up for it! 🙂 Mine is currently invisible as well, but hopefully should get started on it shortly...I really really wish I could see some examples, especially from last year when the letters changed to the more generic letter that goes to every institution. If anyone has a source/link, I would really love to read some samples!!!

Are you comfortable asking any of the current interns at school or are friends with 2010ers? That is my plan--I'm just not in the hospital at the moment to ask (and don't want to e-mail)

Its like the VMCAS personal statement all over again! 😕

I have just thought about mine, but asking some of the current interns is a great idea. I'll have to remember that when I'm back at school for my next rotation.
