hi i have several schools that i have heard nothing from. Should I address the letter of intent to an individual person or just send it to the school?. Should the letter talk about aspects of the school as well or just talk about me? For some reason I just have the feeling that my letter will go straight into the trash without anyone reading it and I am wasting my time so i am lazy in writing highly specific letters of interest. any advice or inspiring words welcomed

I have a similar question.

I was looking through the school's website and something I had not noticed at first caught my eye.

Now I feel like writing the adcom and adding sort of an addendum to my secondary. Is this okay?

I think writing update letters is always a good idea. You never know what will help you.

Make sure you don't confuse letters of interest (i like you school, i'm special) and letters of intent (if you accept me, i will attend).

I know at Gtown, writing letters can really help. I think it just depends which schools you are talking about. Top schools know you're really interested, where as lower tier school may look favorably upon applicants that show continued interest. You should proabably address your letter to the Dean of Admissions.

What about a letter of interest to a school you have already interviewed at? Should i do it, and should i email him or regular mail.
