I want to write a letter of interest to a school that I interviewed at. How does one of these things go? Handwritten or typed?

This is my first choice school... And I REALLY REALLY want to get in!

I sent a letter of interest right after my interview, before the admissions committee had made any decision about me. I addressed it to the Dean of Admissions. It should be typed, in a formal format. I basically told them what I had liked about the school, and that of all the schools I had visited I felt that I would fit in the best there. I also said that if I was accepted, I would rescind my application from other schools and go to their school (but only say that if you really mean it). I don't know whether the letter influenced them at all, but I did get accepted. Good luck!
