Letters of rec from a practicing DO (for secondary applications)?

I do not know any DOs personally. I've done research on my own regarding osteopathic medicine; i've talked to people outside of the profession but in the field; i decided on my own to pursue this degree. So, could someone, anyone please give me some advise as to how i can pull this letter of rec. from a DO off?

It's something i shouldve researched long ago, but i didn't. Any words of advise?
