Letters of Rec. Question!!!

I have decided to wait and apply next year but I wanted to know if I should still get the letters of recommendations now and keep them for next time or should I just wait??? How recent should letter of recommendation be??? Any input is greatly appreciated.

get them as soon as you can and just save them. The longer you wait the harder it will be.
