Do you guys think saving letters of recommendations and re using them

for the year after cycle is good idea? or should everyone get a new

letter from professors again.

Hi @luv8724 (and any one else who happens to come across this thread)!

My name is Mike, and I am a current member of staff at Interfolio, Inc. Regarding the reuse of recommendation letters aggregated on our servers, it is my experience that this kind of resubmission is perfectly acceptable.

Schools seem to be much more interested in what you've accomplished academically and professionally than the date on your letters, however, it might be best to check with some of your individual schools to get a feel for their preference.

Either way, I wish you the best of luck :luck: and encourage you to contact me at [email protected] if you have any additional questions.

Cheers,

This is a somewhat strange question. Did your professor just give you the file with the letter on it? Or are you saying you are re-applying and want to re-use the letters from last cycle?

Interfolio is a company that holds and then redirect the LORs, tramscripts, etc to TMDSAS. It is ok to reuse the same letters as long as they are not older than two years. (this is based on what I heard in our school pre-health club a few years ago), but I think it is still the case.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for taking time and help predents. I will link page to the TMDSAS 2011 page, as most applicant usually direct their LORs question for TMDSAS overthere. Thanks again
