Letters of Reccomendations

I was curious about how letters of reccomendations work with PCOM and NYCOM. Do you have to wait to recieve secondaries to have them sent or can you just have them sent and the schools will hold them untill your file is complete.

I am glad you asked this question! I was wondering if I can just give the DO, a regular letter of recc from the pre-med office in my univ, or will I have to use the letter of recc that come with the secondaries?
