Letters of Recomendation!!!

I feel like I'm lagging behind in this application process. I'm still looking for DO's to write me letters of recomendation. Being that I don't know ANY DO's, how can I go about asking for a recomendation before March 1st, 2001? Are the recomendation letters REALLY that important?

I seriously doubt you will be considered without a complete file..which requires the recc letters. Ad coms won't acknowledge application files that are not complete...you need to get that rec in place.
Look in the phone book..check the net..you can find D.O.'s....especially in the Mid-West....
