i am a little confused on the whole letters of rec and transcript thing. i graduated several years ago so am not really in touch with other people applying to med school for 2003. do letters of rec need to be turned in with your amcas application or are they turned in with your secondaries? also, can you send amcas your transcripts or does the school have to send them directly to amcas? i went abroad for a year and am a little concerned about the school sending them on time. i have an official sealed transcript from them. can i send that? THANKS 🙂

lola,
DON'T turn in your LORs w/ your AMCAS application. Have you recommenders mail their letters to the schools once the schools request the letters. You should let your school send the transcript for you. AAMC is real particular about receiving the "official" transcript directly from the school. Just call the school's registar's office and hassle them every day, and they'll get on the job. 🙂
