For dental schools most require 2 science letters. This can be any science right? My major is bio but my science letters come from the chemistry department since both my chem 2 professor/orgo 1 recitation instructor/ current colleague since im now an orgo TA too and my orgo 1 professor/orgo 2 professor/current boss since im an orgo TA now would know be better and be able to write a better letter then my bio professors. I chose these 2 professors since ive been with them each for 3 semesters and will be for another 2 so they know me better than any of the other professors but also because im not close with any of my bio profossors as well. Also is a committee letter really preferred that much of regular individual letters?

some schools require certain science profs, so you'll need to research the schools you're applying to (like one chem and one bio). some schools don't care. also i believe some schools also say on their website that they require a committee letter if your school offers it, but idk about that since my school doesn't offer it so i don't have to worry about that part.

oh yikes cause my school does offer it but to get one i need a upper level science from my major. only hope is to kiss a$$ to my current 300 level ecology professor haha. will i be rejected for not having a committee letter when my school offers one?

i'm not sure about a rejection, but i think you'd need to have a good reason/explanation for why you don't have one

In regards to this, no, you will not be rejected if you don't have a committee letter even if your school offers one. Mine offered one but I didn't know about it 😳 and so I got 3 individual science letters (1biochem, 1pchem, 1micro) and 1 dentist letter, and it worked out 🙂 No school asked about it.
