Once AADSAS has received your LORs, how long does it take for them to mail copies out to the schools. At this point am I better off asking my professors to send my LORs directly to the schools so that they get there faster?

Get one more LOR on top of what's been required. It will both be looking good on your application and serving as any of the unforseen back up.
