when should you ask you the persons writting your LOR to actually write them? i'd like to have my application in by June 1st.

I'd ask them a few months in advance, especially if they are faculty.

yea...and make sure you give them a deadline before the actual deadline of you submitting your app...just incase they finish them late, they are still before the day you really need them by
