Non-science faculty is weird.... I am a Biochemistry major... All my courses are biology/chemistry.

Really? You've never had to take an art, history, or other general education class? Is your school accredited?

I had a similar issue and had to take a sociology and psychology class to ensure a non-science LOR. When I was younger and had to take English and those other non-science classes as a sophomore and freshman, I didn't form any relationships with my professors. So maybe taking a non science class might be beneficial in your situation!

In larger universities it can be difficult to get your non science classes taught by a professor as a schience major. Many will be grad students or TAs and the prof won't know you from Adam. I had this issue as well when applying.

Well I took a psych class and the class size was ~400... no way the professor was going to know me...

If the school you want requires it then there is no way out. Get a cookie cutter non science letter and make sure the others are good

There can be exceptions. I'm a non-trad, and had graduated from undergrad for several years before I applied. I took pre-reqs later on, but didn't take any non-science courses at that time. It didn't really make sense for me to get a non-science faculty req since i was out of school long enough that I doubted any prof would really be able to say much about why they thought I would be a good candidate for med school. I substituted with letters from a more recent employer in the field of study of my undergrad degree, and a letter from a supervisor at my current job. If a school required (and at this point I can't think of who did) a non-science faculty letter, I emailed them to tell my situation and all were fine with that substitution.

That's really neat!
