Because I'm freaking out reading how late Interview invites are going out. I am getting verified this week, one way or the other (because it will be 6 weeks on Friday.) All my secondaries are written and ready to go. LORs will take probably 2 weeks from the second I'm released (well actually from when I start getting secondaries.) I have a DO letter. I'm a 3.64/3.46/25 (8/9/8). I applied to both LECOMs, WVSOM, Marian, Alabama, both PCOMs, LMU, Touro-NY, New England, and VCOM. I'm not URM, and I'm a NY resident, but I have a ton of shadowing hours (500+), all rural medicine because I'm from Upstate, not the cities. In addition to doing all that shadowing, I've done several hours of community service, including two service trips, I'm president of two clubs, and I tutor. I have a BS in Biology from a Jesuit university (or I will in May, anyway). With a minor in religion and medieval studies. I'm doing research on lyme disease. I want to be a rural family physician, and I made sure to stress that significantly in my PS. Just tell me I didn't blow 500 dollars.
