I'd love to hear where people who graduated from small liberal arts colleges got into medical school!

I go to Reed College in Portland which is so small there aren't really statistics on where we get into med school, so let's compile a list of where LAC alums get in!

My good friend who went a well known women's college goes to Case Western rn!

From a NESCAC or a school like Reed, you should be able to get in anywhere. Recent NESCAC grads have gone to Emory, Dartmouth, Harvard, Brown, Albany, Pitt, UPenn, and lots of state schools.

Love the school motto!

Went to a small LAC in the northeast (one of the seven sisters), ended up in Miami! Classmates from ug have ended up all over the place - off the top of my head: UMass, Einstein, Brown, Harvard, UNE, OHSU, Northwestern, Duke, SUNY Upstate...

I really think a liberal arts education is a great asset for medicine and i wish more people encouraged it. my non-science classes have influenced me so much more as a person and future physician than my hard science classes

went to a small liberal arts school known for pre-law. I have an acceptance at TUNCOM, and am awaiting a decision on Geisinger!

I have a friend in my class who ended up at PCOM.

My kid is not in a LAC but he is in arts college with in the midsize private univ and I agree liberal arts classes are very useful for future doctors.

I went to Reed and took a long, meandering path to medicine, ultimately winding up in a surgical sub-specialty. The school didn't provide a lot of support back then, but it sure was an exceptional education. Happy to provide more detail privately, if you'd like.

at my tiny liberal arts schoo (3000 undergrads tops), one got into dartmouth, others in previous years have gotten into harvard, pritzker, tulane, nyu, their state schools.

Went to a small liberal arts school that no one knows about located in the middle of cornfield. Got into Hofstra, Downstate, and UMich.
