XYZ School of Medicine license plate frame while still a medical student?

Yay or Nay

i prefer the stickers that go in the back window. I still have my one from UG

Nay. If memory serves, etiquette for undergrad plates dictate not to install it until graduation. I don't see why med school would be different. A sticker seems appropriate and I'd consider repping one for school spirit.

If your bookstore has student plates I guess you could rep it, but if the plate says alum or says nothing, I'd steer clear.

So a sticker that reads:

University of _________ School of Medicine would be okay but a plate frame that reads the same would not?

Wow!!! 😱 There are so many things they didn't teach me in etiquette and elocution.

yea i didnt get that either. there are plenty of frames that just say school w/o saying anything about being an alum.

i just prefer how the stickers look

Better to just loudly announce to every thief and junkie that you are a doctor and might have cash or drugs in your car every time you park. Sure you earned being a med student/doctor, but advertising it is a good way to make sure your car is the one that gets broken into over the other cars in the lot. The guy with nothing to identify him as a professional and the bumper sticker that says "my other car is a Yugo" gets robbed a lot less.

I prefer the bumper sticker that says : "I was an honors inmate at the state penitentiary."

This.

This is a better bumper sticker.

I tend to agree with this, but I try not to keep anything of value in the car. I did get a bumper sticker after I heard of several classmates getting out of speeding tickets and driving violations because they are in med school.

This is why I always drive around with my fully stocked white coat in the car.

It must be a cold, dark, gloomy world you live in...

I say nay, but it's mostly just because I don't put advertising of any sort on my car. I drive like a total aggressive douchebag, so I'd hate for someone to stereotype other upstanding citizens of whatever I was advertising based on the way I drive.

I prefer the bumper sticker that says : "I was an honors inmate at the state penitentiary."

That said, if I was going to have a bumper sticker, I'd certainly go with this personal favorite: "My son got your honor student pregnant."

I drive around with my old volunteer badge in plain sight, board review books, and stethoscope when I know I'll be going 80-85 plus on the highway.

Half-serious.

I have a sticker on my car not the license plate frame but still what does it matter, it's no different than having a sticker/logo from undergrad.

I say just get a sticker that says Thank a cop lol
