Do pass/fail research units count towards course load? I am freaking out a bit. I have only been taking (on average) 10-11 graded units per semester. I have never p/f a course offered for a grade. Furthermore I go to a top UC school and have a 3.95, 515 mcat. I am graduating in may. When including summer classes, I will have taken 96 graded units by the time I matriculate (I am taking an english class in the summer). I will not need to delay my graduation, as I have been able to complete all my school and major requirements in 4 years).

Most semesters I get 3 pass/fail credits from my research program, and 2 pass/fail credits from a course associated with one of my extracurricular activities. The course associated with my extracurricular is not available for a grade, and the content changes/ builds upon itself every year.

When counting my pass/fail units I have around 13-18 units per semester. On average it is 15.5 units/semester.

Am I screwed? Should I even bother applying this cycle? What can I do to offset this? I am more than willing to change my school list.
I cleaned up your quoted request to focus on the germane question and not perform a WAMC (which you should follow the template for full analysis).

Your university probably has set its policies on what constitutes full-time and part-time in terms of course hours taken and how pass/fail courses contribute to it. As far as I know, P/F hours are part of your semester load, and you shouldn't be dropping to part-time due to taking a course P/F. If you are graduating, a degree audit should determine whether you are on track to graduate in May or not.
