Light for Loupes?

Did anyone purchase a light for their loupes from a different company that supplied the loupes? When I purchased my loupes, I was planning on purchasing a light, but the rep told me to look around a little more because his were expensive (about $900). Did anyone find a light for a cheaper place and you have been happy with it? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

love my sheervision firefly infinity led light. it is twice as bright as other led's i have seen, comes with 2 battery packs, is totally portable and costs around 800 bones. LED bulbs never need replaced.

A lot of people at school use the PeriOptix PeriStar. I think they're around $6-700 for an LED light. If you contact the rep, you can usually try to get a student/group buy discount.

Another vote for Sheervision. A headlight has been more beneficial to my clinical performance than loupes ever were. Highly recommended if you have the money. You'll never go back to the overhead light.
