Got an initial interview invite on 9/5 asking if I want an in person or virtual interview. They said they'd send an official date soon, but I haven't gotten a follow up email yet. Anyone else in this situation? Is it too soon to reach out?

I think you should reach out as it has been more than 3 weeks since you've heard from them initially, and also check your spam folder in the email.

I chose my date but it didnt work for me so they rescheduled to 9/25 for me.
 
Hi, hope everyone is doing well! I have an interview in a couple of weeks and was wondering how people's interviews went. What was the process like? How were the questions? What should I prepare for?
 
Hello everyone, I am very nervous about my interview as there is not much information about this school as it is fairly new. I would love some input to prepare for the interview. I was also wondering if the interview is a one-on-one style or multiple people.

Im a D1 at LMU, and from what I believe, it is 1 on 1. Don't stress about it, you'll do great. Just know your application and be yourself.

Hi everyone, wanted to ask if everyone who submitted application on AADSAS and LMU portal received an email regarding the submission of passport style photo. Because I have completed the application in August and still haven't received that email so I am just concerned if my application is complete or not. And does the application status on LMU portal change at all?

N/A - The school does not have data on the ADEA guide just yet. Will update once it gets updated!

**Because LMU doesn't have full accreditation, and is on initial accreditation until they graduate their first class, enrolled students will be required to take private loans. Good luck everyone!

I want to debunk the last statement here regarding private loans. They are not required to take private loans. I just had an interview here and the D3's D2's and D1's all have loans through FAFSA. They are accredited; they finished their first two CODA visits with flying colors. They have a plan for their D4 year, they do not have board pass rates yet. Their hygiene program had 100% first-try board pass rates, and they are shooting for the same for their doctors.

One on one or two on one, and it is an open file. Interviews last about 30-40 minutes. They are no longer an "easy" school. They asked some tough questions and are not going to let you fly by with low stats without you having a darn good explanation.

Awesome. Couldn’t find information online regarding if they offered FAFSA loans through their dental program. I’ll clear that up.

Hello is it possible to elaborate more about the plan they have for their D4's next year. I recently just got an interview and am beyond excited, but after reading the last 2 years threads I am kind of spooked about the whole initial vs full accreditation dealio.
 
Anyone know how they’re contacting us for decisions? It still says “invited for interview” in my AADSAS portal. Are they contacting us today?

Hey there! Congrats on your interview. I’m a D2 at LMU 🙂 They actually invited CODA to the school to talk about any thing that is working or needs improvement in our programs. CODA gave them a list of recommendations and we even hired someone who worked for CODA as one of our deans! He’s working tirelessly to change things and ensure we meet and exceed all the requirements. So I have no doubts at all that we’ll get the final stage of accreditation — especially since the entire first hygiene class just passed their boards!
