Lincoln Memorial University and its Master's Program for Anatomical Sciences (AS) and Biomedical Professions (BP):

1) The internet speed is slow and unreliable. There will be times when the internet has been completely cut off and you won't have internet access anywhere on campus (this may or may not happen once a month). It's like an old DSL connection.
2) Honestly, if you don't get into the Anatomical Sciences program, you will be fighting an uphill battle to gain acceptance into DCOM. That's why it's harder to get into the Anatomical Sciences Program than to get into the Biomedical Professions Program. That does not mean that there aren't any students in BP with GPA and MCAT score profiles comparable to students in AS.
3) The AS program is made up of about 30-35 students and a few academic advisors, while BP has only one advisor for about 90-95 students. This might be problematic.
5) LMU did not post online before the start of the program that they would have students take a Systems Physiology course. In fact, they still haven't. They used about 1/3 of the BP student population to establish the course in the fall of 2017 and used maybe one or two students from AS. The problem with that is this: the course is challenging. Some students failed the class. Students who take the course in the Spring will not be under same pressures as students who take it in the fall semester alongside the Medical Gross Anatomy (MGA) Course. Students in the fall will have to take MGA tests along with the Systems Physiology (SP) tests in the same sitting with questions mixed amongst each other. Meaning, during an exam, the next question could come from either course. It could be an MGA question, or it could be a Systems Physiology question. AS and BP students who did not take SP in the fall will not have to experience this kind of stress. Students who took this style of testing were not told that they would experience this type of testing beforehand.
