You have to prove that she WASN'T having auditory hallucinations.
Just how are you supposed to do that?
In addition, psychiatric literature suggests that command hallucinations are very easy to fake.
I completely support jury nullification in this case.

When we were doing IVF my wife's estrogen was insanely high. Like several thousand. I did something stupid, standard stupid nothing outside of the usual, and she full on yelled at me in the middle of Time Square in NYC. We drew attention away from the naked cowboy.

Who would want to even be a juror on the re trial? They've successfully tainted the jury pool.
A jury of your peers is a frightening proposition in general after hearing everyone on this case.
The older female jurors admitted to trying to push some type of agenda under the false guise that women aren't getting enough mental health care. They Conveniently ignore the fact that she was doctor shopping and going through numerous mental health professionals while lying.
And you don't get post partum psychosis 8 months postpartum.

Yeah, there is no scenario where a male veteran returns from the sandbox, kills his family, blames it on PTSD, and then guys with plate carriers and multicam show up to the courthouse to cheer him on as a hero for PTSD awareness. That world doesn’t exist, so we can dispense with the gender equity crap.
The the lack of a guilty verdict was bad but the societal response is far, far worse. I got to listen to a gaggle (ie more than 5) female ICU nurses discussing this case. The number of truly insane comments from seeming normal people was shocking. By normal, I’m talking 24-30 year old young ladies who largely look like the types that the crowd camera focuses on at a UGA vs Bama football game; not the tattooed and pierced freaks who choose their hair color from a bag of Skittles. These are people who would be trusted to care for you or your dad but seem perfectly comfortable with a mother committing infanticide of her own children.
Normally, I don’t contribute to such discussions but for this case I couldn’t resist. My only question to the most outspoken gaggler was, “Would you be as lenient if she had killed your family and claimed post-partum psychosis?”

The only thing worse than this is the nurses that i work with believing conspiracy theories that the husband killed the children and then pushed her out the window.
Reminder that nurses are blue collar trade workers. Plenty of nurses are smart, but you don’t have to be smart to be a nurse.
Some guy did man on the street interviews of white liberal women. Many of the responses were wild but this was my favorite.

She wasnt "on 10 psych meds and SSRIs"..... she was on many different routine SSRIs and benzos over the course of many years (not at the same time as they were implying). If you look at her meds and their timelines (which is available online) you can see they were very reasonable regimens.
