hey there I was wondering if anyone has a List of predent SMP/Post Bac Programs throughout the US? My gpa is a 2.94 overall and is expected to be a 3.01 overall after this semester. so I was wondering if that's even good enough to get in anywhere?

1) BU - oral health science
2) Rutgers - MBS (predental specific)
3) VCU - CERT
4) Temple - idk what it's called, but they have a post-bacc for pre-dents and as far as I know, it is guaranteed admission once you successfully complete and meet their requirements. Entrance to this post-bacc requires an interview

Barry, USF, Iowa State, and Tulane all have good masters programs that are more affordable than the likes of Temple and others. Adcoms just want to see that you're taking courses that are going to prepare you for dental school, or similar to those you'd be taking in your first year of dental school. I'd honestly say make your choice based on how much debt you're going to be taking on. My advice is going to be post-bacc over SMP every time due to the affordability and it being less risky. I definitely wouldn't pay 50K for a SMP.

For SMP:
Tufts- Master in Biomedical Sciences
NYU- Master in Oral Biology (not sure if it is still unaccredited)
Midwestern-AZ- Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences (1 year)
USC- Master in Global Medicine
UMDNJ- Master in Biomedical Sciences
Barry University- Master in Biomedical Sciences
Tulane- Master in Cell and Molecular Biology
Western University- Master of Medical Sciences

For Post-bacc:
UCSF
UCLA

These are the ones I could think of, but I found a link for more post-bacc and SMP. Credit to UC Irvine, zot zot zot haha.

UNC Greensboro has a post-bac that's mixed dent/med/pharm/etc, and it's not really competitive to get accepted
