Hey does anyone have a few examples, or better yet a list, of dental schools that look at your "W/O +-" GPA? Do most schools consider one over the other?

My two GPAs differ quite a bit based on this factor so it'd be interesting to know.

The general consensus seems to be that...... Nobody knows. It could easily differ between schools, which you probably won't be finding a list for (pertaining to their preference).

What do you mean by W/O +- gpa
Does that mean calculating withdrawals?

It's a separate GPA that is calculated which doesn't included the +'s and -'s of your letter grades. So a B- or B+ would be calculated as just a B, same with the rest if the letter grades.

Schools I for sure know favor w/o +/- : all Texas schools and Temple. In general w/o +/- is a more fair scale as many schools do not give students the opportunity to get A+/4.33 and thus it evens the playing field.
