What do you mean by a "University Hospital?"

For example, is Grady Memorial in Atlanta a "University Hospital" since it serves as a primary training site for Morehouse and Emory medical students and residents though it is "owned" by the Fulton-deKalb Hospital Authority?

Or do you mean ones directly controlled and/or tightly associated with a medical school like New York-Presbyterian (the University Hospitals of Columbia/Cornell)?

Or do you also want to include major affiliates like Brigham & Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School which is an obvious academic medical center though not "controlled" directly by Harvard?

Let me put it this way instead...

Any hospital at which one may obtain a residency in internal medicine.

Check out www.aamc.org and click on the ERAS link. From there, you can check out IM residency programs by state.
