I am applying to med school this cycle and have recently been admitted to a 1 yr MS in Biology program that I will be starting this upcoming fall. Although I have not completed any course work in the program, should I list the school and classes that I am going to be taking in the fall on my AACOMAS? Also, should I have a transcript sent to AACOM. Thanks for advice.

I'd say list it as planned courses and update grades as you get them after fall. An MS can't hurt

I would definitely put it down if you think it would play a strong role in determining your academic credentials in the sciences if you have a deficiency in your UG performance. This is probably especially important if this was an SMP/MBS style 1 year masters at a medical school.

The only thing I will warn you is they will probably wait for your first semester grades to come out before offering you an interview if you do put that down to see how you do.

So do we put as ''planned", and then send the transcripts in september to show that we are actually in the program? Will we still be verified early if we dont send transcripts for courses listed as ''in progress/planned"?

You list the institution that is offering the graduate program as well as the degree/certificate granted and then list all the coursework/units that you will be taking and when it starts and ends.

Once final grades are posted for a semester you send them to the schools that have sent you secondaries. Verification for the primary does not need transcripts sent as transcripts are only required for all coursework completed in attended academic institutions.
