I took Gen Chem I in the fall semester of Fr. year and then was invited to take an advanced gen chem and lab the spring semester. We covered all the main topics of Gen Chem II but had additional topics esp for lab (lab and lecture were taught together). I just realized now though that it's listed on my transcript as General Chem Adv Student (2 hours) and Intro to Res Methods-Chem (2 hours). How do I make sure the schools I'm applying to know that this was the advanced section of Gen Chem and lab so that they will count it as the pre-req? Help!!!

When you list your course you can label it as 2nd part of Gen Chem. Also, I am sure medical schools have seen that from other students at your university so they won't be surprised or caught off-guard.
