is there an accepted regimen for all patients with liver failure/cirrhosis to be on akin to the MI cocktail or HF cocktail (eg, every s/p MI gets a b-blocker, ACE-i, statin, ASA; everyone with HF gets b-blocker, diuretic, ASA, ACE-i/ARB, +/- spirinolactone/digoxin).

really only lactulose +/- rifaxamin.
Albumin with a large volume para.
Midodrine if hypotensive

Lactulose, beta blockers.
immunize against hep a/ b if their titers are negative.
The science doesn't support giving albumin prophylactically or in the case of sever ascites.

I thought you were asking about a cocktail to cause liver failure, in which case I was going to say dissolve a bottle of Tylenol in a bottle of whiskey. Which, oddly enough, I've seen patients present with liver failure from doing on accident, care of alcoholism and ignoring the dosage instructions on their Tylenol bottle...
