Liverpool vs Edinburgh

Hi, I'm a Malaysian and will be an international student. I'm having a very tough decision between both of these schools. I just want to know people's thoughts on both of these school especially if you were a student or a currrent student, like how is the life over there, the available societies, how are the lecturers and assessments etc. From where I'm from, people tend to like Edinburgh because of their reputation, so they tend to give biased opinion? I just mean that I've never really heard anyone talk about Liverpool vet school over here, so I really need an opinion. There's also another reason for me to go to Liverpool, it's because my sister is currently studying in Manchester (I don't mind commute for an hour), so it will really relief the cost of living for my family. Also I kinda like a more friendlier, stressfree environment? As in like the students there, I would prefer them more open to share stuff and teach each other.

Hi! I think you can get more opinions on the Student Room since that is more UK-based while SDN focuses more on the US schools. There are quite a few current Liverpool and Edin vet students on the Student Room who have shared their experiences at vet school and they were personally very helpful to me (I applied to a few uk schools for entry this year and I have recently firmed Edin for their 5 year course)
