Livescribe - Is it worth it?

Do any of you own a livescribe pen? Is it worth the price? What kind of feedback can you provide in regards to user interface, word recognition (especially with bad penmanship), and if it really does save you time?

Any feedback would be excellent and very appreciated.

Looks like a waste of money to me, I just record everything on my iPhone.
