Anyone tried it?

I'm a soon-to-be M1 and am a little worried about anatomy not being taped (everything else is). I mentioned this concern to my parents months ago -- recently, my mom discovered the livescribe pen and asked if I wanted it as a birthday present this year.

It looks pretty awesome, but I'm not sure if it works as well as advertised. Anyone try it/have any advice regarding the livescribe system?

I wouldn't worry about anatomy not being recorded too much. This obviously varies by school, but if you plan on going to lecture, that should be enough. Most people only listen to recordings if they don't go to lecture. I know a few people who did go to class and then listened to recordings before an exam, but never for anatomy class.

And there are also people who stick to the syllabus (or lecture notes, or whatever your school does), don't attend lecture, and don't watch or listen to recordings later. Something for everyone.

As far as the Livescribe thing goes... I've known one person who uses it, and she really liked it. That's really all I've got.

I was thinking of buying the livescribe pen a while back. I felt it would be one of those things I use for a few days and then get bored of, so I didn't buy it. Look it up on youtube, I remember watching some good video reviews about it.

I've used this daily in all my classes for two years, the software interface is flawless. The audio is hi quality, everyone in my class comes to me because they know I record lectures with it.

I'd highly recommend it.
