I'm only a one person sample, but I interviewed at [71, 69, 69, 67, 67, 66] which seems like a pretty typical spread from looking at other people with my scores. Don't you think the difference between a 3.6 and a 3.4 is much greater than 2 MCAT points worth? You're the expert, that's just how it looked from my brief experience with all this.

There is more to admissions than your GPA and MCAT score.

how is this thread still alive? the LizzyM thing is a TOOL and a GUIDE to see in general what kind of chances you have at getting an interview. it is not THE RULE. plus 1, minus 1...whatever. if your lizzym is close to a particular school, then great, but it's no guarantee for anything. if your lizzym is not close, but you think you are special for whatever reason, then apply anyway; just don't be surprised if you don't get accepted. remember, the schools are looking to accept people, not the stats.

How does the LizzyM score work with minorities/URMs? For example between two students with the same stats, a urm is more likely to get an interview.

lol you guys are taking this a little too far. Don't get too hung over having a numerical basis on which to apply to med schools. Your score should just give you an idea of how your grades and mcat together stack up against the competition you'll face applying to a school.

Where the Lizzy M score system breaks apart is once you hit the top 20 schools, where I'm sure there's more students with >74 LM scores than spots available. These schools focus on everything- ECs, leadership, awards, research, LORs, etc- so having just a high LM score isn't going to cut it.
