Hello all,

So I have a LizzyM score of 73, however my ECs are not that good. I am obtaining most of my clinical volunteering and shadowing hours this year and also over the next year. I am an African American female. So you think that will affect my app?

I’m applying this upcoming cycle. Gpa: 3.8. Mcat 516 and residency: NC

If you have shadowing(50 hrs), clinical experience (150 hours)and nonclinical experience(150 hours) to list on your application it will be better than nothing. Schools like to see longitudinal involvement but there’s nothing you can do now so stop worrying. But keep up your work for the rest of this year and until you actually get an acceptance. Your stats are great.
