have you filled out your FAFSA? if not, do it asap. i think the website is fafsa.gov? if not, google it. fill it out even if you haven't done your taxes~you can fill it in later when your taxes are done.

yes, if he's still a dependent of his parents or under the age of (23?), then he needs his parent's tax info.
good to know!Your dependent status for tax filing isn't really relevant to your status for the FAFSA. All graduate students are independent according to the FAFSA regardless of age or anything else. However, it is good to include parental information because lots of schools want it to see who gets school-funded grants/scholarships, and there is a loan program (Health Professional Loan?) for dental and other non-medical school people that requires it.
my accountant said to just use my parents info from last year.. cuz they havent changed jobs.. so i did that.. it didnt seem right at the time but oh well.
