What have I been waiting for?
a thread like this, i presume.....
Absolutely!! I wasn't saying that people shouldn't file their taxes, I just filed mine! However, I have a friend that received acceptance to dental school but still needs to graduate college and he has never held a job--- What does he do? Does he use his parents tax info? Thats what I meant!!
yes, if he's still a dependent of his parents or under the age of (23?), then he needs his parent's tax info.

Your dependent status for tax filing isn't really relevant to your status for the FAFSA. All graduate students are independent according to the FAFSA regardless of age or anything else. However, it is good to include parental information because lots of schools want it to see who gets school-funded grants/scholarships, and there is a loan program (Health Professional Loan?) for dental and other non-medical school people that requires it.

That's an interesting way to do it. You can correct the fafsa later.
