It's would seem difficult, where does someone go for a loan when the school, which is great in terms of education, is not Title-IV (no Staffords), and just isn't commonly attended enough by US citizens to be listed by TERI, IEFC, or any of the other major lenders that I've seen.

Specifically, (though not relevant to the greater discussion - should a discussion on this thread actually take place) I'm trying to determine funding options for the major public universities in Argentina, Ecuador and french-speaking Belgium.

Help would be a great asset to me. Anyone tried this?

I'm not sure 100%, but if they don't even take teri, that most likely means that you have to find private funding sources. Most of them won't take the risk and want collateral. you would be better off going to the ones that do take it.

Although I can't see medical school being all that great in Ecuador or costing that much.

Argentina and Belgium is another thing.
