On many med school websites it is stated that visa students must either prepay four years of tuition or at least show proof that they have the money. However, the loan programs I've found (since visa students are not eligible for most financial aid) will only provide loans one year at a time. Is there some way to get around the 4-years' prepayment?

I am a Canadian citizen...for all our free-trade agreements, I'd think this would be easier!
