If we choose not to take out loans as a D1, will we have the option to take them out in the later years as D2/D3/D4's?

Follow up questions. If I only need to take out 15k to pay for the dental kit, will the 15k be distributed into separate quarters/semesters, or will I get all 15k at once? If not, do I have the option to request to get the money all at once?

It will go through student financial aid at your school. If you are required to buy the entire kit first semester then they will disburse the entire loan that semester so that you can purchase it.

You can apply for the loan (with a FAFSA) and then fill out a form to decrease it.
