So I sent out my 4 LOE's on June 4th. I also finished submitting my application on the 8th and it's been verified and will be sent out within two weeks. Three of my four LOE's have submitted but the fourth (which happens to be my dentist 😱) has not. What should I say to him to get him to submit it (I don't want to come off as rude)? He had agreed to write it a while back before I sent him the form. Also, if they send out my application to the schools how big of a deal is it if all of my recommendations aren't received at once? Thanks for any advice on this in advance!

Ha I'm sort of in the same position. I have 1 of my LOE's still not submitted. I'm just hoping it gets submitted within the next week. You have 4 LOE's? I only have 3, are there any schools that require 4? I always just assumed that all schools needed 3 (1 dentist, 2 science professors)

Well, just hoping they submit it will get you know where fast. Sure, there's a chance the dentist will submit it tomorrow morning, but more than likely they are busy and haven't gotten to it. From what I've experienced, LORs fall on the bottom of the food chain for professors and other professionals when it comes to prioritization. I recommend a friendly reminder. At the very least call the front desk, and tell them you were just following up on Dr. X's letter of recommendation that they agreed to write. Tell them the application cycle just recently opened up, and that you are trying to get all of your materials organized to make sure you have everything squared away.

I don't think that would come off as rude.
