I'm not applying until 2013-2014. Is there any way to log observation hours on PTCAS before June (ish), when that application becomes available? I queried PTCAS on this but it provided an ambiguous answer. It seems silly that one would have to wait so many months (years in some folks cases) to log hours, especially given the fact that most schools require the hours to be verified.

Also, where would you guys stick home health hours? It doesn't really fit into any of the PTCAS categories.

Many thanks.

You can't log them on PTCAS because they won't save your application for 2013-2014.
I made excel spreadsheets for each of my observations, with the info. needed for the PTCAS form - that way I had it all when it was time to apply.
Then as soon as the application opened, I put it all in and sent out requests for verification.
If you do that you have a couple of months to have them verified before deadlines for schools start.
I also gave a copy of the spreadsheet to the place I shadowed when I was finished, that way they would have record of what I did and feel comfortable verifying on PTCAS when the time came.

Home health hours would be documented:

Outpatient
Other
Home Health Physical Therapy
