At the risk of appearing overly neurotic and air-headed, here it goes:
I've been accepted to a school already that I'm happy with. However, I'm on the waitlist at two other schools I would prefer (cost being the priority) that also happen to be higher rank and are open to updates.
If I send an update/interest letter to both waitlist schools (e.g. activity update, then: I really liked your school for X, Y, Z, here's why I think I'm a good fit, etc...), is there a chance that any of these three schools (accepted one included) could talk to each other/see I sent a interest letter to a different school? Is this a thing? Are there any potential negatives I'm not thinking of, like coming on too strong? Or am I overthinking this?
Thanks in advance!
