Hi everyone,
I have been reading about LOI and when to write them on SDN. Could someone please post what they mentioned in their LOI? Thanks!

Your best bet it to do a search on LOI or "letter of interest" or "letter of intent." There are multiple threads over the last few years regarding this.

People are mainly posting about when to send the LOI but not what is in the letter. Some have mentioned about saying "X school is my first choice" but is there anything else important to mention in the LOI?

i'm planning to send out a letter of intent (post-interview) to my #1 choice and this is (the skeleton of) what i'm going to say:

dear dean big-shot and fellow ad comees,

thank you for interviewing me.
you are my number one choice.
why you are my number one choice. (= kiss some butt)
i would say "i'll withdraw all my other apps if you accpet me" but this school is non-rolling so i will prob say "i currently have an acceptance at ___ which i am willing to turn down if you accept me."

ps. did i mention you are my number one choice?

i've never sent one of these before so don't take my word that this is the way to go about it but that's pretty much what i would/will write.
