Hello!
I interviewed on December 20th and received a letter of acceptance in the mail sometime last week. My interview was one on one. When I first arrived they sat me down in a waiting area where one of the administrative staff sat down with me to chat while waiting. The actual interview was not too bad. He asked me few general questions about why I chose physical therapy, what kind of expectations I had, my past observation hours; just very basic questions that I recommend to have prepared before going in. He also asked me some specific questions based on my application, such as why I majored in Sociology as opposed to pre-bio or kinesiology. Every interviewer will be different but overall it was very laid back. As we were walking out of his office, he joking said I did a terrible job in the interview, which at the time was not very funny, but goes to show that it should not be an intense experience. Relax. Breath. If they gave you an interview you know that they are thinking of accepting you. Just be yourself, be honest!
Also, the interview took about maybe 20-30 minutes in a small office. Honestly, walking out I thought I did extremely mediocre. I felt like I missed few things that I wanted to highlight or ask him but I think having my fall transcripts among other documentation looked good when he asked me if I had them. Best of luck on your interviews, and hope to see some of you this upcoming June!
