Most likey late April, early May like it is every year..

Well I didn't get mine yet, but today a girl in my class said that some people got their letters already and they ALL were rejected😱! (I REALLY hope she's lying). I also heard that you won't get a letter til late April/early May. I feel I have a chance, but now I'm so worried to death :scared:. It's my last chance, so I'm hoping for good news, or it's over for me..

I think those who did not get interviews got rejection letters already..

Anyways, best of luck to everyone..:xf:

Yes, the Pharmcas deadline is sooner this year but the interviews were held on the same dates as last year which ended March 31st..They also need to give some time to let the students do the background check and drug screening if they have not done so already..

Were the people that supposedly recieved rejection letters transfer students from the CW campus or from other schools? I ask because I'm going to CW starting this year for the prereqs, then I am applying to the Brooklyn campus for the professional phase & if everyone is getting rejected, I might have to rethink my options.

I would call pharmacy admissions to find out if they would favor a brooklyn campus student over a cw post..Because honestly, no one knows here for sure..But I could tell you with confidence that they will favor a pre-pharm over anything else...

I'm sure CW Post kids are favored too since they are LIU students, just at a different campus..if that was not the case, I would have switched my major already b/c I know I would not get in, if CW post kids were considered transfers so, plus my GPA is only a 3.2, my PCAT sucked I guess, but everything, including interview was very good..

Pharmdkid is a CW student who received an interview invite, so not all CW students were automatically rejected without an interview.
There's nothing wrong with you taking your prerequisites at CW campus, as long as you keep in mind that attending this school doesn't guarantee an acceptance to pharmacy at LIU in Brooklyn (same goes for Brooklyn campus students.) You may have an advantage over a transfer student, like myself, but probably would not on the same preference level as LIU Brooklyn prepharm students.
Whatever the case is, you should always keep your options open and make sure you apply to more than one school. Will give you a greater chance in reaching your goal 🙂

Thanks for the advice, you're right about applying to more than one school. I just remember that every time I spoke to someone at CW, they made sure to inform me that there is no guarantee that I will be accepted into the prof. phase. I am very limited to what schools I can apply to since I do not want to move for school. I will have to just make sure I maintain a high gpa & do well on the pcat.

Anyone get a letter? I heard they were supposed to be sent out this week and I'm waiting for mine patiently..
