Sure (assuming your treatment is effective in cure or prolonging of life). Generally radoncs see their patients every 3-6 months for the first few years after treatment to watch for recurrence and any late toxicities from treatment, then every maybe 6-12 months thereafter until they are pretty much out of the woods for recurrence (depending on the type of cancer). I have seen attendings who never really stop seeing some of their patients even after 15+ years.
You kind of like seeing them and look forward to their follow-up visits ... One of my attendings sees women that he treated on NSABP-06 treated in 1980.
