Hi guys,

I'm looking for a good pediatrics book, perhaps geared toward a 4th year or intern, that is generally organized by presenting signs or symptoms and takes you through the thought process, differential diagnosis for the presenting complaint, and work-up. Most books I've come across separate topic chapters by organ system and specific disease (I own Blueprints Pediatrics and Lange Pediatrics: Current Diagnosis & Treatment). Thanks!

I have heard great things about and have started to appreciate the Textbook of Pediatric Emergency Medicine (Fleisher and Ludwig). Most chapters are organized by symptom or sign and walk through the approach to the patient. It's great for organizing through the most commons and the diagnoses you don't want to miss.
