Hello-

I'm a veterinary surgical resident currently working on a paper about spinal fractures/luxations. I have a lot of veterinary specific resources, but I was wondering what you guys over on the human side regard as the sort of "standard" for general information about traumatic neurologic injury? Is there a particular text book or recent review article that you would recommend? I'm not really looking for the cutting edge stuff, more a nice summary of the pathophysiology.

If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!

The chapter on Acute Spinal Cord Injury in Wijdick's "The Practice of Emergency and Critical Care Neurology" is pretty good.
