Anyone work in cities where riots are rampant? I'm hearing alot about how pharmacies are being looted left and right. The DEA must be having a field day.

Also hearing alot about massive exodus from NY and CA.

Have any of these events affected your pharmacy?

Would your insurance cover 100% if it is looted or burned down?

Not sure about the pharmacy but my parents' business was burned down and it wasn't completely compensated for by the insurance. So i'm gonna say no on the pharmacy either.

I noticed CVS not giving 2 ****s about replacing the glass on the automatic sliding doors at one location

Also I forgot there was a looted Walmart set on fire that is still closed (San Leandro in the California SF Bay Area). Guess they said F this to reopening that location. So they care enough about the optics of pulling out of Chicago but they prob won't reopen that burned Walmart anytime soon.

This is still happening? Guess I've been too busy reading stock market news.

I wish. I want my discounted beach house already.

But reality.... rich folk have always had ways to avoid taxation (just leave the state and exercise your options/sell appreciated securities....then come back later)

Most of the people who left were poor/bottom 1/3 of income with minimal family support. I don’t blame them. Those who are in this income bracket who stay have to form larger/multigenerational households to pool $$ for rent/mortgage and handle child care needs.

Even solidly middle class folks do this, not so much out of necessity, though.

That would be hilarious. The Coasts have stolen all of the talented people from rural America for decades, leaving them a desolate, brain drained abyss. Now the abyss is so bad, they have to take the hopeless, forgotten, opioid addicted people their intellectual human resource theft has caused.
