LOR from alumni how to write

I have been shadowing a DO who went to NYIT which is my first choice school (i live in NY as well if that matters). Anyway i asked them for a LOR and they agreed to write one for me. I wanted to know if there was any way that he should write the letter to imply that he was an alumni of the school. My only problem with that would be that since other schools i am applying to require a LOR from a DO how could that be done so that it would not cause problems with the other schools.... if that makes sense. Basically i want NYIT to know i shadowed one of their doctors (as would be see in the LOR) without hurting my chances with other schools. I know that is a bit scrambled so feel free to ask questions if it's unclear. Thanks for the help

I shadowed a KCUCOM alumni and he just put KCUCOM class of .... in his signature.
