Does it matter whether I get my science LORs from more "advanced" classes like orgo, or is it fine if I ask my intro chem professor to write me one?

As long as they can comment well on your abilities and skills I think it's fine. People might say that it's bad to get a letter from an intro prof since intro classes tend to be large with less student-professor interaction but that's not always the norm, if the prof knows you well, go for it
