LOR from recent profs?

Does it look suspicious to adcoms if I don't have an LOR from a recent professor? Two of the LORs I'm getting are from professors from freshman year and one of them is from the person I did research under. Does it look weird that I don't have any from people that taught classes in my major? I have two potential professors, but I don't think they know me as well, and I'd rather not ask them if I don't have to.

It's always nice to have more recent LORs as those professors. Freshmen year is a little old I think. Make an effort to get to know the professors more and ask them for a letter. If you end up using your old letters, it will not hurt to accompany it by more recent letters.
